Hosting and web analytics by IONOS
Type and purpose of processing
Our website and domain are hosted by IONOS SE. When you access the website, technically required connection and access data are processed in server log files. This may include the IP address, time of access, requested resource, referrer, browser type and operating system.
IONOS also provides WebAnalytics for the web hosting service. The analysis is used for statistical evaluation and technical optimization of the website. According to IONOS, no cookies are used for this purpose; IP addresses are anonymized after transmission.
Legal basis
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in the secure, stable and technically optimized operation of the website.
Recipient and processing on our behalf
The recipient is IONOS SE, Elgendorfer Straße 57, 56410 Montabaur, Germany, acting as a processor on our behalf.
Storage period
According to IONOS, web hosting access data are stored for eight weeks. IP addresses are anonymized for statistical evaluation.
Technically necessary storage (Local Storage)
To store your preferred color scheme (light or dark) across page views, we use your browser's Local Storage technology. Only the value “light” or “dark” is stored locally on your device. This storage supports your selected display setting and is based on Section 25(2) No. 2 of the German Telecommunications Digital Services Data Protection Act (TDDDG). The value is not transmitted to us or third parties.
Contact by email
Type and purpose of processing
If you contact us by email, we process the personal data you provide, in particular your email address, name and message content, in order to process and respond to your request.
Legal basis
Processing is based on Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR and our legitimate interest in handling your request. Where your contact relates to entering into or performing a contract, processing is additionally based on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR.
Microsoft 365 / Exchange Online
We use Microsoft 365 and Exchange Online for email communication. The provider is Microsoft Ireland Operations Limited, One Microsoft Place, South County Business Park, Leopardstown, Dublin 18, Ireland. Microsoft processes data under contractual data processing arrangements. Where processing takes place outside the European Economic Area, the applicable data protection safeguards are used, in particular adequacy decisions and/or EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
Storage period
We store personal data from email inquiries for the duration of processing and beyond where statutory retention obligations or documentation of business relationships require this. The data are deleted once these purposes and obligations no longer apply.
SSL/TLS encryption
Our website is transmitted via HTTPS. This encrypts data during transmission in accordance with current technical standards.
Changes to this privacy policy
We update this privacy policy when legal requirements, services used or processing activities change.
